Legal notice: who publishes Pixvisor
Legal notice for pixvisor.com: the publisher, the publication director, the hosting providers, intellectual property, liability and the law that applies.

This page identifies who publishes Pixvisor and who hosts it, as French law requires of a website publisher (Law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004, “LCEN”, article 6).

Pixvisor runs on two providers, one for the website and one for the analysis service.

Your images
The images you analyse or clean remain yours. Pixvisor needs no rights over them: a file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed for the operation you asked for, and discarded when it ends. Nothing is stored. The details are in the privacy policy.
You may only process images you own or have permission to process, as the terms of service set out.
Intellectual property
The texts, the tag reference, the logo, the visual design and the code of this site are protected by copyright. Reproducing or reusing them, in whole or in part, without written permission is prohibited and may constitute infringement under articles L.335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Short quotations are welcome, provided they name Pixvisor and link to the page they come from (article L.122-5 of the same code). The images used on the site and their origin are listed on the image credits page.
Apple, iPhone, Google, Android, Samsung, Galaxy, Adobe, Content Credentials, C2PA and SynthID are trademarks of their respective owners. They are named only to describe what our tools read or what a guide explains. Pixvisor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.
Liability
The guides are published for information. The publisher checks them against real files and cited sources, but cannot guarantee that every page is complete or current: devices, apps and platforms change their behaviour without notice.
The tools report what an image’s metadata contains. They do not prove where an image comes from or whether it is authentic, and they cannot detect or remove watermarks hidden in the pixels, such as Google’s SynthID. The disclaimer explains how to read the results. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. The publisher does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content.

Reporting a problem
To report an error, an unlawful content or an infringement, write to contact@pixvisor.com and name the page concerned. Errors are handled as described on the corrections page.
