Disclaimer: what our results mean
Pixvisor results are indicative, not proof. What a clean metadata check does and does not establish, and what this site is not.
The tools on this site read the metadata layer of a file. That is a precise, narrow job, and every result should be read within its limits.
Results are indicative, not proof
- A clean AI-trace check means the file carries no AI fingerprint in its metadata. It does not mean a human made the image: screenshots, messaging apps and converters routinely strip metadata, and pixel watermarks such as SynthID are invisible to a metadata scan.
- Content Credentials found in a file are a presence check, not a cryptographic verification of the signature chain. A valid manifest says the file was signed in a particular state; it says nothing about whether the photograph is honest.
- The privacy score measures the signals the tool tracks. It is a hygiene indicator for one file, not a security guarantee.
- Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing here is forensic evidence. For a disputed image, use a professional analysis and an official C2PA verifier alongside what you read here.
What this site is not
Pixvisor is not a tool for making AI images look human-made, and we state the limits of our detection wherever it matters. Cleaning metadata is hygiene for files you own, not a way to disguise the origin of content you publish.
If a result on this site looks overstated anywhere, that is a defect - please report it.
