Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026.
By using Pixvisor you agree to these terms.
What Pixvisor is
Pixvisor is a browser tool for reading, editing and removing the metadata inside image files. You upload an image, we process it and return a result, and the temporary copy is deleted straight afterwards. Nothing is stored, and your original file is never modified: every operation produces a new copy that you download.
There is no account, no subscription and no paid tier. The service is offered free of charge and without any commitment to remain available.
Acceptable use
Use Pixvisor only on images you own or have the right to process, and only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to attempt to deceive, defraud, or misrepresent the origin or authenticity of content.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Metadata detection and cleaning operate on the metadata layer only and may not capture every field or every generator. Invisible pixel watermarks (e.g. SynthID) are not detected or removed. We do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files.
Your files and your rights
You keep every right you had in the images you process. We claim nothing over them, we do not retain them, and we do not use them to train anything. In exchange, you confirm that you hold the rights necessary to process each file you upload.
Because nothing is stored, we cannot recover a file for you. Metadata removal is not reversible on the copy you cleaned, so keep your originals.
Advertising and third-party services
This site may display advertising served by third parties, which set their own cookies and are governed by their own terms. What they collect and how to opt out is described in our privacy policy. We do not sell or share your images with advertisers, and no advertising is placed on the tool itself.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use constitutes acceptance of the current version.
